Mr. Bill | Production Techniques | Ableton Live

In this short clip from our Elite Session with Mr. Bill, Bill goes over a unique production technique he applied in one of his currently unreleased tracks. He wrote two MIDI parts - a chord line and a lead line. He then placed the MIDI on multiple tracks with various Kontakt presets. He enabled and disabled the MIDI on each track so that each Kontakt patch would play the MIDI line for a quarter note. This is a great way to achieve more sonic diversity in your tracks.
